(Why do you want to do this research? Why does this topic matter to you? What do you already know about it?)
The society as a whole is running towards a mirage, as in what they feel as a need to attain happiness and success. But sadly, as they get closer, it just disappears. Families are torn apart, relationships falter, friendships are doomed ? is it because we are giving too much importance to materialistic success. As a part of the present generation, I want to be happy as well as successful. I feel somewhere we lack a sense of direction, we miss out on our priorities, and we are completely clueless. This research is an effort to find out what is more importance happiness, or success. I believe in being successful and I think happiness will follow, I might be wrong, the research hopefully will provide me with a satisfactory answer.
(What do you hope to find out, or what question(s) do you hope to answer by completing this research?)
I hope to understand the need of oneself to be happy. Can we both have success and happiness together? Or is it always at the cost of giving up the other? Do I have the courage to follow a path not trodden by others? Is success so important that you can let go of happiness, or should I uphold the ideas of happiness, hoping that success will somehow follow? I want to share my experience with others so they can benefit from what I had learned in course of my research.
The search paper should be about happiness and success. You need to write about; Is success and happiness complimentary? Can a person?s success be the benchmark to ultimate happiness? The concept of success in contemporary society should be given a makeover. ( these are my research questions that you can work on but feel free to contact me and ask me about another research question that came to your mind if you would like to write about) And remember this is a research paper so in the end you cannot choose sides between both of them as we should leave it for the readers to read the pros and cons for both success and happiness and decide their conclusion and opinion on it
I have added couples of links as a guideline for APA and some common errors to avoid.
You can contact me anytime and I will reply the as soon as I can.
Note to keep in mind while doing the paper
Relevance? Importance? Is the source timely, controversial, and/or focused on matters related to your research project? Are the results significant? Is the argument persuasive?
Authority of the researchers. What universities or corporations support the research? Is the researcher or research team frequently cited by others? Is the source published by a credible publishing company? Is it peer-reviewed?
Significant findings and arguments.
Research methods: Are the researchers employing appropriate research methodologies? Are the methodologies fairly standard, i.e., have the researcher’s methods been used by past researchers?
Quality of the research or article. Is it thorough?
How will this source be useful to you? Be specific. Use different colors to refer to which part of the paper you think information from this source (as summary, paraphrase or quote) will be most relevant and useful (for example, green for introduction, red for possible counterarguments, blue for major arguments etc.)
The society as a whole is running towards a mirage, as in what people feel as a need to attain happiness and success. But sadly, as they get closer, it just dissapears. Families are torn apart, relationships falter, friendships are doomed ? is it because we are giving too much importance to materialistic success. If the society was less materialistic, ones?s approach to success would have been different. Success should not be measured in terms of power and money and that might keep a lot of people from happiness. Even if success and happiness happens together ,these two ideas need not be necessarily connected. You might have a humble job that doesn’t have much prestige, but you might enjoy it. Or, you might not like your job that much, but you might have a great life at home that makes you happy. On the other hand, you might have an impressive career that gives you a lot of money and respect, but you might hate your work, or you might be unhappy with your life outside of work. If you look at the way things are in society, it is obvious that happiness and success get confused all the time. Happiness is a feeling that exists inside a person; success is too often a measurement that is based on what other people think of us. You have to know the difference if you want to be happy, and being happy with yourself is a kind of success that everyone should be able to experience. As a part of the present generation, I want to be happy as well as successful. I feel somewhere we lack a sense of direction, we miss out on our priorities, and we are completely clueless.
