how science uses evidence

The main focus of this paper is how science uses evidence. Galileo and Jenner make arguments based off of data. Each provides evidence and organizes it in specific ways for rhetorical purposes.
To take this use of evidence one step farther, this assignment will require students to visit one of the local science museums and compare that places strategies with the science texts we read in class. Analyze the way each (Galileo, Jenner and your chosen museum) use data. Note the different contexts of each “text.” They comprise different fields and different centuries. How does this influence their presentation of evidence? Compare and contrast the way evidence is presented in each.
