Learning Activity #4: Scope Statement: Team Project
Watch a short presentation on “How to Control Project Scope in Project Management” from projectmanager.com found at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DuthRT6j6i4. Meet with your fellow students in the team forum visible in your course.

Start a Project Scope Statement for your project.

Note that you are doing only one heading within the template for a Scope Management Plan; the heading is Scope Statement. Your Scope statement will include the project deliverables, exclusions, constraints, and assumptions. Post your Project Scope Statement in the team forum. Provide feedback to each of your team members on their Project Scope Statements.

For insights and a Scope Management template, go to Project Management Docs https://www.projectmanagementdocs.com/blog/five-key-parts-of-a-scope-management-plan.html. Include the project deliverables, exclusions, constraints, and assumptions. Post your Project Scope Statement in the team forum. Provide feedback to each of your team members on their Project Scope Statements.
Use the Team rubric provided in your syllabus to guide your collaboration efforts. The points in the Team rubric represent only your collaboration. The remaining points assigned to this activity will represent the quality of the work.

Each student should submit the project to your facilitator as an attachment in the drop box titled Scope Statement: Team Project.

This assignment is included in your Project Management Plan. Include only the Project Scope Statement that pertains to your individual project in your final Project Management Plan.
