How would you go about investigating the long-term effects (both positive and negative) of using Ritalin to treat attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder in children using each of the following research methods: scientific observation, the experiment, and the survey. Using information from your text, design three different studies that would allow you to investigate this research question. One will be an observational study, one an experiment (and for this one, you?ll need to define your independent and dependent variables and well as your experimental and control groups), and finally, one using a survey. Be sure to tell me which type of research design (cross-sectional, longitudinal, cross-sequential) you?re using for each study and, citing evidence from your text, why you chose that design.
