Body: The discussion and results of your research.

4300 Research Project (40 Points)
Working either individually or in groups of 2-3, identify a current project that is on the agenda of either the FASB or IASB. Project topics will be postedvia the
discussion board. Post your selection on the discussion board under “Research Project” and the instructor will respond with approval.

Section headings aligned with the Rubric add to the quality of the paper. Submit one copy per group in the D2L drop box and one hard copy to the instructor. Those
submitting their paper on or before class time March 30, 2017 will receive a 5 point bonus allocation on the project. The final due date is class time April 18.

4) Analysis of the types of companies that the new proposal will affect (e.g. does it affect small to medium sized entities?)

5) Review comment letters and due process documents (if any) and identify the issues raised and how they arebeing addressed

6) Provide a projected timeline for moving forward with the proposal (a graphic illustration is the best way to present the timeline)
